The NSW Government’s $1.77 billion investment in TAFE NSW will boost vocational education and training in the Manning-Great Lakes and deliver the skilled workforce of the future.
Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said NSW Budget 2018 would deliver additional frontline teachers, an ambitious capital works program and enhance TAFE NSW’s ability to train the State’s future workforce.
“TAFE NSW will deliver state-of-the-art training to students across the State.”
Taree and Tuncurry TAFE offer multiple course areas that could be of interest to potential apprentices.
The courses include barbering, hairdressing, carpentry, engineering trades and automotive.
The NSW Government’s investment in TAFE NSW is on top of the $285 million also in NSW Budget 2018 for 100,000 free apprenticeships.
Any member of the community who is interested in undertaking an apprenticeship should follow the advice of Training Services NSW or call into TAFE NSW Taree for further information.
