Students had the chance to chat with the Estia residents and listen to their stories.
As a component of the photography and digital media class, the students visit Estia every Monday for four weeks, to photograph them.
This Year 10 photography unit is titled “A picture is worth a thousand words – stories through images”.
After the first visit, students discussed their research and things they learned talking to the Estia residents.
The next step of the project was photographing the residents whose stories they had listened to, so they could start compiling their photographic narrative of residents’ life and preparing their final projects.
