Having a whale of a time
They’re back.
Early yesterday, Tuesday, May 29 Amaroo Cruises sighted the first pod of whales on its morning cruise.
Four big beautiful humpbacks sighted on this morning’s cruise, they excited crew posted.
But, the odd whale – some with their new calves – were first seen back in April.
With the ‘official’ start to whale spotting kicking off this weekend, the 2018 season is predicted to be the best ever with record numbers of humpbacks making the mammoth migration up the coast.
