Twenty-four students were chosen to represent Holy Name School at the recent diocesan cross country event, held at the Walcka Water Works, Maitland on Tuesday, May 8.
The young competitors gave their absolute all in the event, with most children finishing in the top half of their age categories.
Alexis Hudson came fourth in the nine year old girls event, and Amy Rowell came seventh in the 12 year old run.
Both Alexis and Amy will now progress to the Polding cross country later on in the term.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the event, it was an achievement just to be able to compete.
