Oscar Salt tried to go back to back after winning last year’s 14 boys regional title and came very close, finishing third in a tightly contested under 16s boys Final.
Ross Cadden went one better than last year’s second place result in the 16 boys and stormed home to take victory in the under 18s boys final, also securing the award for wave of the event in a see sawing thriller.
All three surfers have now qualified for the right to battle it out against the States best for a NSW title.
Other competitors from the club included Jay Pink, Nat Watts and Corey Fletcher.
