Unfortunately, the rain chased everyone off court again at 10:15am, as many watched the radar and prepared super sopers to mop up the grass courts to resume, until the decision was made to postpone play.
Players were patient, and after many showers persisted the tournament was mostly completed successfully, with only five matches abandoned over the three days.
At the last count a record 285 players competed, with 17 international juniors from China choosing Forster as the tournament to take on during their stay.
Twelve juniors from Forster Tennis Club took to the courts for the event, with some fantastic results recorded.
Laia Pasini was victorious in the under 16 singles, taking out Lily Pade in the final. Laia then teamed up with Kira Morris to win the under 16 doubles.
Other significant results saw Logan Paulson finish third in the under 14 age group.
Players earning their first Tennis Australia national ranking points were Andrea Flores and Finn McDonagh.
Stevie McDonagh also added to her point tally.
The Forster Tennis Club committee would like to thank all the volunteers who once again put their hands up to make this an outstanding event despite mother nature serving up some mighty showers.
