Renee (Amy Schumer) is a woman who struggles with feelings of deep insecurity and low self-esteem.
These feelings hold her back on a day to day basis until one day she wakes up from a brutal fall in an exercise class believing she is suddenly a supermodel.
With this newfound confidence she is empowered to live her life fearlessly and flawlessly, but what will happen when she realizes her appearance never changed?
Some critics have criticised the movie for putting Amy Schumer is the not attractive and overweight category. She has clearly lost weight and already had a beautiful look. But that’s not to say she can’t represent many women who feel insecure about their looks. Judge for yourself.
