Gloucester Arts and Cultural Council (GACCI)’s competition is open to everyone, whether you are just starting out or have been taking photos for years, whether your young or more mature.
With the great success of last year’s competition, organisers are continuing to expand the format of this popular annual photography competition.
The photo subject matter is no longer limited to the Gloucester region for most categories, allowing photographers to include their favourite subject matter from around the world.
However, the photo is still required to have been snapped within the last two years.
2018 categories are:
Faces I have Met, Lie of the Land, The Natural Environment, Man-made, Not your Normal photo, Absence of Colour, Gloucester Postcards and the Junior section.
Entry forms are available via https://www.facebook.com/PixFromTheStix/, http://www.gloucester-gallery.com.au/ or in person at Gloucester Health Foods on Church Street and are due by June 8.
Framed works must be delivered, ready for hanging to the Gloucester Gallery on Denison Street by June 19 between 10am until 4pm.
Opening night is Friday, June 22 from 7pm at the Gloucester Gallery. The exhibition is open to all so come and check out the winning entries.
