Nearly 40 swimmers from Forster Public School participated in the zone event, which was attended by many other competitors from the area, making the achievement even more exciting.
Forster Public School is justifiably proud of Torie Matthews, Kirra Cremin and Joshua Cross who have progressed to the regional event.
Many personal best times were recorded at the Hunter carnival, but on this occasion, no one from the school qualified for the state championships. However, some swimmers did qualify for the AWD (athletes with disabilities) swimming carnival for the next level.
Congratulations to all the swimmers who participated in the event, and good luck to the students progressing to the regional event.
