The colourful event was part of the school’s vegetable week, which ran from Monday, February 26 through to Friday, March 2.
All students got to participate in the event which promoted healthy eating and healthy living.
“We were able to take part in the big vegie crunch thanks to the generous support of Woolworths, Raymond Terrace,” event organiser, Jody Mostyn said.
“They supplied us with two boxes of fresh vegetables for the initiative. This experience increased students’ knowledge, exposure and positive attitudes towards the vegetables.”
Students who participated included Xavier Wheaton, Kleon Reid, Samuel Raines, Cody Loveday (back), Jaida Morgan, Chelsea Chatwood, Brodie Guthrie, Xara Sumner, Robert Jordan, Savannah Dawes, Ajay Tufrey, Noel Green, Mia Garemyn and Indy Watling.
