
Swimmers from throughout the State will converge on the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre later this month for the Swimming NSW Country Championships.
One hundred and eleven competitors from 18 North Coast clubs have entered a staggering 539 along with 23 relays during the two day carnival
The top clubs are Port Macquarie with 26 swimmers in 114 events, which will have National swimmers Grace Bannon, Tom Berryman, Luke Mapstone and Harrison Northey on the team.
Trinity Lismore has 18 swimmers in 99 events with multi-class swimmer Correy Taylor and fresh from her medal winning streak at State championships, Tayla Crabtree.
Representing the Forster club, which will send a team 13 swimmers who will compete in 60 events, are Claire Van Kampen and Dane Jeffery who swam at Nationals last year.
Lismore Workers has 12 swimmers entering 64 events and Ben Auckram should shine in the multi-class events.
