Held for the first time in 2017, the inaugural event attracted almost 90 girls and women.
Dave believed this year’s event could be even bigger.
“It’s going to be big,” Dave said.
“We’ve got 85 entrants so we might get to 100 by the end of the week.”
Weather conditions for the event are not favourable, with possible showers and a top of 24 degrees expected.
“Looking to the forecast, hopefully we can sneak it in,” Dave said.
The course will be set up at Elizabeth Reserve in Forster Keys and consists of a 300 metre swim, 12 kilometre cycle and three kilometre run.
This is a non competitive race and is open to females of all abilities.
