A highlight was the performances of children from The Kiddies Hut and Hallidays Point Public School.
The entertainment line-up included Paul Eade, Raelene Brown, Jodi Cooper, Mary Camphuis, Cassidy Donovan, Georgia Hudson-Rose and Ray Smith, while Anthony Zanos was the master of ceremonies.
The local Probus choir added their support to the Manning Valley Concert Band.
The Hallidays Point Lions club members ran the barbecue.
The carols was co-ordinated by Alan Tickle from Hallidays Point Uniting Church who said the object of the evening was family fun and entertainment.
Santa made an appearance and handed out lollies and some glow-goodies.
