But, Lieutenants Philip and Donna Sutcliffe, and their group of dedicated support workers from the Salvation Army, Tuncurry-Forster have made sure Christmas 2017 is a time to be celebrated and remembered with fondness.
It’s just that Christmas for a group of residents this year came a week early when the Salvos provided a traditional festive lunch complete with Santa, carols and friendship on Friday, December 15.
More than 70 people tucked into the special lunch, which was an extension of the weekly Friday lunch organised by the church.
