The Good Samaritans Taree received a hamper from Meals on Wheels Taree while Forster Meals on Wheels donated three hampers and a box of additional items to the Great Lakes Women’s Shelter.
The organisation also distributed hampers in Port Macquarie, Laurieton, Wauchope, Kempsey and Sawtell.
Omnicare Alliance CEO John Carroll was pleased the company could support the community.
“As this is the first year as a newly merged company, we decided to support local families who needed a helping hand this Christmas,” Mr Carroll said.
“The best way to do this, we thought, was through Christmas hampers.
“All of our staff, volunteers and clients got right behind the initiative, and now we have 12 overflowing Christmas Hampers to go to families in our communities.
“This will certainly become a Christmas tradition each year.”
