More than 100 ladies were in attendance at the Christmas celebration and club birthday, which had the theme of ‘Christmas at the Beach’.
The evening was a great success, with many sarongs, beach hats, zinc creamed faces… it was all there.
The beach decorations were fantastic as was the dinner, and of course the music from Jerry Anderson compelled participants to sing and dance.
Another bonus of the evening was that several of the members received either their 10 or 20 years badges, quite an achievement belonging to the club and organisation for so long.
The club morning tea visit to Country Palings Petals and Pots at Green Point on Wednesday, November 22 was a really good morning out, the rain didn’t slow anyone down.
VIEW stands for the Voice, Interests and Education of Women. This organisation is a great way to meet and make new friends and having fun while doing it whilst raising funds to support the Smith Family.
The club would like to wish everyone a safe, healthy, happy Christmas.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the VIEW club, feel free to come along to a dinner meeting held on the fourth Monday of the month at the Sporties at 6pm.
The next meeting will now be held on Monday, January 22, which will be the AGM and Australia Day celebration.
