The diplay is open to the public at Manning Regional Art Gallery, showcasing students’ work from a number of schools across Gloucester, Bulahdelah, Tuncurry-Forster, Taree and Wingham.
Assistant gallery director, Jane Hosking said the display has been a great success.
“The exhibition has been going really well, it’s a fantastic feather in the cap of these young people who are getting a chance to be in the public eye with their work featured in a regional art gallery,” she said.
“We are getting lots of people wandering through, commenting on what a high standard of work the students have managed to produce this year, everyone is really impressed.
“There has been a great level of interest in the community, with locals and visitors popping in to have a look at the exhibition while they are out doing their Christmas shopping.
“It’s a great opportunity to showcase the community’s young talent.”
