Holy Name Primary School Year 6 student Natalia Hamilton has received the top title in her division of the 37th annual Newcastle Permanent Primary Schools Mathematics Competition.

After completing the 35 question exam paper in August, Natalia was presented with her award at a ceremony at McDonald Jones Stadium on Wednesday, November 1.
Newcastle Permanent CEO Terry Millett congratulated Natalia on her fantastic achievement.
“A big congratulations to Natalia for her excellent work topping the Great Lakes region and taking out first place for her school,” he said.
“Natalia, her family and school should be very proud.”
The exam was undertaken by almost 19000 students from 323 primary schools across the Hunter, Central Coast, Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast, New England and Central West regions.
