The Bureau of Meteorology has issued warnings of possible severe thunderstorms, merging into super cells, across the State today, Thursday, October 26.
The Mid North Coast is in the zone for possible severe thunderstorms which could bring with it heavy rain and hail by this afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to extend from 27 on the coast to 31 degrees further inland with the possibility of damaging winds during the afternoon and early evening.
Winds S/SW 20 to 30 km/h tending NW/SW 25 to 35 km/h in the morning then tending SE/SW 15 to 25 km/h in the evening.
The State Emergency Service said residents need to take the appropriate timely precautions when storm and severe weather warnings are issued.
