The rain is likely to fall in the afternoon and evening. Winds will be north-west to north-east and between 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the middle of the day then becoming south to south-east late in the afternoon.
Maximum temperatures will reach into the mid to high 20s.
Saturday will again be cloudy with a high chance of rain, most likely in the morning. It will be a little cooler with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 21. Winds will be southerly between 20 to 30 km/h becoming light during the evening.
The Plan B Regional Big Bash this weekend in Coffs Harbour, has been cancelled due to the forecast.
