Some years ago, the two young country music entertainers, Reg Lindsay and Heather McKean, hit the road with their first music tour along with a five-week-old daughter, Dianne. Their first show on the tour was at the Nabiac Showground Hall.
Dianne’s concert will be at the hall on Saturday, April 8 at 7pm. Artists performing include Dianne Lindsay, Peter Simpson ‘The Bush Picker’, Keith Jamieson, Alisha Smith and Caitlyn Jamieson from Queensland, Ken ‘Chainsaw’ Lindsay, Sandra Lindsay, Marcus Greene, The Nabiac Hillbillies, ‘Cousin Dipstick’ and surprise guest artists.
The show is run in good old country style with music, comedy, a light supper, lucky door prizes and time for the audience to meet and speak with the artists.
An ‘Open Mic’ concert will be held the following morning Sunday April 9 at 9.30am.
Entry is a donation $5 in support of the Australian Country Music Foundation in Tamworth.
This will be an informal concert/get together and a chance for any singers or musicians to take to the stage and perform.
