Refilling your drink bottle is getting easier when you head out and about in the Great Lakes with a dozen bottle refill stations around the area to make choosing tap water an easy decision.
The refill stations, located in various spots across the Great Lakes, are about providing the community with a choice for drinking water when on the move, rather than having to resort to bottled water.
Installed as part of a joint program by MidCoast Council and MidCoast Water the refill stations have been placed in parks, sporting grounds and beachside areas at the following locations:
Boomerang Beach, northern end; Bulahdelah showground; Forster, Boronia Park soccer club rooms; Forster, Main Beach at the pool; Hawks Nest, Providence Park; Pacific Palms Surf Club; Tea Gardens, Marine Drive; Tuncurry, John Wright Park; Tuncurry, Little Street Baths; Tuncurry, South Street sports complex; Tuncurry Memorial Park and Tuncurry rock pool
Local refill stations are also available on the Choose Tap® app, available through the Google Play or itunes store, or via a link on the MidCoast Water website.
The app helps you find tap water wherever you are in Australia.
When it comes to drinking water – tap water is the best choice for your health, the environment and your hip pocket – and now it is even easier to find!
