During the past 10 years Wilkins has embraced a number of roles including team manager, and he has used his extensive journalist experience as a regular writer for Australian Country Media (Fairfax) sites.
We congratulate him on his life membership, club secretary Gerry Hobbs said.
In a coup for the club and Great Lakes area, the Dolphins has be asked to host the NSW Women’s Country Rugby Union Championships in March 2017.
Country zones from all over the State will contest the championships which will serve as the trials to select the State Corellas Team.
“Obviously this will bring many visitors and showcase the Great Lakes and the Dolphins Club.
“We are really looking forward to it and will bring you more information as it comes.”
