Grant Percival won a gold medal, Jason Holley won a gold and bronze medal and Elle Mugiven and Mitchel O’Neil both won silver medals.
Jason’s mother Julie Daskal said the four, “were very successful against strong competition”.
The group traveled with around 28 bowlers from the Mid North Coast to Campbelltown Bowl in Sydney to compete.
The group competed against 240 bowlers from across New South Wales.
“All are now excitedly waiting to hear if they may be selected to attend the National Games to be held in Adelaide in 2018,” Julie said.
“Overall the Mid North Coast team brought home 13 Gold Medals, 12 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.
“A fantastic effort from the whole team.”
The Special Olympics is a not-for-profit organisation for people of all ages with an intellectual disability.
