These meetings will be the first of regular 'community update' sessions held every six months or so.
They are aimed at keeping the community fully informed about the merger implementation and how the new council is developing.
“We'll be holding 10 meetings right across the MidCoast Council region - from Gloucester to Old Bar and from Harrington to Tea Gardens,” interim general manager Glenn Handford said.
The meetings are a two-way communication process to outline the change of council management whilst providing an opportunity for feedback on what residents would like to see in their council.
"We have a varied and unique region - in geography, in our towns and villages, and in our most valuable resource - our people - whose great diversity of skills and experience will help us grow a strong council" said Mr Handford.
The Forster meeting will be held this Friday from 10am at chamber offices, while meetings in Taree and Hallidays Point were held earlier this week.
