One of those people is Aaron Pink, of Pinks Carnival, which comes to Tuncurry every summer to entertain locals and visitors alike.
Since 2008, Aaron has extended an extremely generous offer to host participants from the disability program of Great Lakes Council’s Ageing and Disability Services in a free session at the carnival.
A group of very excited people enjoyed the thrills and fun of the carnival on Tuesday January 19.
In recent years, Aaron has also invited other disability services in the Great Lakes and Manning area to the carnival and this year over 100 participants were his guests. Supported by staff and volunteers of services involved, a great evening was had by all.
Aaron and some of his staff walked, chatted and enjoyed time with the participants during the evening and also provided them with food and drinks.
The participants who attended thanked Mr Pink and his staff for their time and generosity.
