We put the call out to our Facebook followers: have you seen it? Our Facebook followers and Sea Shepherd supporters Aaron Hall and Shaun Wood answered the call.
“I’m taking photos of it now, it’s just going past Cape Hawke - good view from on top of the lookout at it,” Aaron posted.
“I happen to be a Sea Shepherd member and very strongly support their actions so I was very happy to see them pass our waters,” Aaron continued.
Fellow supporter Shaun Wood also snapped a pic of the Steve Irwin telling us: “Just saw it then up at Bennetts Head. Should be past Cape Hawke..” and: “it certainly was an awesome sight to see!!”
Thanks guys. We welcome feedback and interaction on our Facebook page, so if you’re out and about in the Great Lakes and see something interesting why not post on our Facebook page and let us know.
