Hundreds of people attended the ceremony held in the auditorium room at Club Forster this morning to celebrate the achievements of those in our region.
Major award recipients were Daniel Summers who received Sportsperson of the Year, Matthew Thomas who received Young Citizen of the Year and Fay Shacklock recieved Citizen of the Year.
Sixteen people were also officially welcomed to Australia as part of the citizenship ceremony.
