Tony captured this amazing shot from the rear balcony of his Coomba Park home.
“My wife was about to go for her morning walk at about 6.30 in the morning and she brought me a cuppa out on our back balcony and there they were,” Tony said.
“They were only about 30 metres away from the balcony and they foraged around near our place for about 10 or 15 minutes. I certainly wasn’t going to miss the chance to photograph them. I’ve taken a few shots of the deer that get around but these are certainly the best shots I’ve ever got of a stag.”
Tony has vacant block on both sides of his house which are often a thoroughfare for wild deer.
“There’s probably a group of around nine or 10, they’re always running around there so I get pictures and some video when I can,” he said.
