Celebrating the passing of 2021, relatively unscathed, this year's gala dinner will take the form of a masquerade ball, on Saturday, February 12 at Club Forster.
Scheduled for a 6pm for a 6.30pm start, the evening will include a welcome drink and canapes, three course meal and entertainment from five-piece band, Circus Mule.
During the meal the 2021 business of the year awards will be announced.
MidCoast Business Awards committee member, Maxine Calladine explained the purpose of the awards was to provide a platform for businesses to evaluate their aims and objectives.
"This culminates in a great event which brings the MidCoast Business community together to recognise and celebrate their outstanding achievements," Mrs Calladine said.
She described the People's Choice Award as exciting and prestigious primarily because it was the customers and clients who had the chance to vote for their favourite businesses.
"A winner will be awarded to each local chamber region with an overall winner awarded to the business that has received the highest number of entries for the Mid-Coast region."
This culminates in a great event which brings the MidCoast Business community together to recognise and celebrate their outstanding achievements.

Mrs Calladine urged members of the community to secure seats early as numbers to the award dinner could be limited due to COVID restrictions that may apply at the time of the event.
