A woman was last night, Sunday, December 5 airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle in a critical condition suffering from a serious respiratory condition.

Aged in her 60s, the woman was treated and stabilised for a number of hours by NSW Ambulance and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter paramedics before the short flight from the Forster Sports Complex Lakes Street oval to Newcastle.
