Following last night's snap lockdown across many parts of the Manning Great Lakes, MidCoast Council has been forced to close a number of its services.

The customer service and administration centre in Taree and the Forster customer service point will be closed to the public for the duration of the stay-at-home order, which began at midnight, October 5 and will extend to next Monday, October 11.
MidCoast Libraries in Taree, Forster, Old Bar, Hallidays Point, Nabiac, Harrington and Wingham also will be closed for the duration along with Manning Regional Art Gallery, Manning Entertainment Centre, and the YMCA at both Taree and Forster.
Operating as usual:
- Kerbside waste collection;
- Pounds'
- Parks, playgrounds and public toilets;
- Taree Airport, open with services provided by Pelican Air;
- Building Certification Services;
- Waste management centres, tip shops and Tuncurry Return and Earn
- Gloucester Customer Service point including Service NSW and Services Australia;
- Stroud Customer Service point;
- Tea Gardens Customer Service point;
- Gloucester Visitor Information Centre;
- MidCoast Assist is closed for all centre-based activities, however operating to provide essential services, can be contacted on 1300 65 88 30;
- Gloucester Hydrotherapy Pool, and
- Community halls under council management closed only in the 2428 and 2430 postcodes
