Originally slated to take place in Wingham on November 3 like a lot of events set to be held in the latter half of this year, alternative arrangements had to be made for COVID-19 safety reasons.

Although taking place online, the symposium is still being broadcast from Wingham, as one of the aims of the symposium is to showcase the regional town the event is held in.

The virtual event will include a range of presentations and interactive networking opportunities.

The theme for this year's Ignite Symposium is 'renew, reimagine and rethink' - circular economy, housing and business preparedness.

Organised by RDAMNC, the annual event "is a business and community event designed to bring together people who work, run businesses and live in the Mid North Coast".
