Camden Haven and Manning Valley Community College has been operating in our regional community for 40 years.

They have a college at Laurieton and training rooms at Taree.

The Taree lifestyle program and training provision is growing, and they are very proud to be operating from premises in Manning Street, recently adding another large suite which is in the process of refurbishment and outfitting for the Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community courses in which we specialise.

They are also preparing the rooms and arranging other venues to offer a range of interesting lifestyle courses.

They work with the community, industry and business to provide the training and courses you want.

Their wonderful local Care Provider Organisations enable work placement and extend student support.

Camden Haven Community College became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in 1995 and now offers a diverse range of quality vocational and lifestyle learning opportunities in the Camden Haven and Manning Valley communities.

The college is not-for-profit and community-owned.

The college has a small permanent administration staff and many excellent experienced trainers.

Most students are wanting to enhance their skills, seeking a new career or training to gain employment.

Some participants study to comply with workplace requirements, extend their current employment, go on to further training, for professional development or just to embrace learning.

Camden Haven Community College was identified as a high performer in the Smart and Skilled Performance-based assessment for 2021-22 contracts.

Their performance classification is based on outcomes and indicators and recognising high performing providers.

They were assessed on the outcomes and indicators shown on the VET Student Outcomes Snapshots relative to the performance of a peer group of the most similar providers and then ranked against all other Smart and Skilled Providers.

This is a fabulous outcome for the college and demonstrates the importance of consistently maintaining a high standard of quality training and assessment.

The college prides itself on the level of friendly professionalism we deliver to all their course participants.

They work closely with and support those who are disadvantaged in our local communities.

Through delivering quality training positively and highlighting the preparation required for a newly chosen career path all contributes to empowering and enabling achievement of the goals that each participant envisions for themselves.
