Work, which begins this Monday, August 2, involves improving bridge accesses, drainage improvements and routine maintenance.
Work will be carried out on the bridge and also from Pampoolah Road, underneath the bridge, from 7am to 5pm on weekdays and is expected to be completed in two months, weather permitting.
Lane closures, traffic control and a reduced speed of 40km/h will be in place, which may affect travel times.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
