The March Charge provides an opportunity for everyone, no matter what their fitness level, to get healthy and contribute to a cancer free future. Our Chargers took on the challenge of setting their own walking or running challenge over the course of one month, we also saw Chargers trying activities like cycling, swimming, tennis or dance. Whatever the activity, the goal was the same: clock up the kilometres and feel the Charge you get when you tell cancer where to go.

In total, there were 11,134 Chargers who raised an incredible $2.6million, making it the biggest March Charge in history, and the donations are still rolling in! Sadly, an estimated 145,000 new cancer cases will be diagnosed in Australia this year, but funds raised from The March Charge will go towards Cancer Council's lifesaving cancer research, vital information and support services and cancer prevention programs to reduce cancer in the community.

We know that the past year has been challenging for many people, so we are proud to see our communities taking to the streets, pools, gyms, and treadmills to support people affected by cancer who need our help, now more than ever. And there's also never been a better time to commit to challenging ourselves to be more physically active to improve our mental and physical health.
