Fishing all day, the group hauled in 40 fish which were weighed in with a total weight of 19.22 kilos.
Most points for the day were won by Martyn Barry with 215.40 points.
The largest flathead was caught by Martyn Barry at 1.165 kilos, with runner-up Graham Eyb at 0.700 kilos.
The largest and only snapper was caught by Wayne Hall weighing 0.600 kilos.
The only other species caught was a morwong by Martyn Barry at 0.63 kilos.
"Although the water was reasonably clear from debris and mud the undercurrent was very strong thus not allowing anglers to get close enough to the sea bed to catch many fish," records/publicity officer, Franklin Harshman said.
Club Forster Bluewater Fishing Club conducts fishing competitions on the third Sunday of each month, off-shore of Forster from midnight Friday to 3pm Sunday, if weather and ocean conditions allow.
Should conditions not be favourable then the outing is moved to the following Saturday only.
Weigh-in is adjacent to the Forster Harbour Boat Ramp from 2.30pm Sunday.
A luncheon and monthly prize presentation are held at Club Forster at 1pm on the fourth Sunday of each month with a cost of $5 for members.
Cost of joining the club is $10 with a $5 yearly renewal fee and monthly fishing cost is $5 when you fish.
