Road users from across the Great Lakes and Manning regions have shared their experiences and photographs of the hundreds of potholes playing havoc with both their lives and vehicles.

Earlier this month a number of accidents and tyre blow-outs were attributed to the large number of potholes which had emerged on The Lakes Way south of Forster.
Our Wootton community is concerned for our safety over Wattley Road, Charmaine Lee posted on the Great Lakes Advocate Facebook page.
"We are council zoned as high risk fire and this road is our only escape," she said.
"The damage to the road is so bad it's damaging cars and putting lives in danger.
"This is more than just potholes.
"The local school bus runs this road daily and even they are voicing their concerns. I'm really hoping council does put these roads first."
Natalie Smythe said there were good examples potholes along The Lakes Way between Forster and Smiths Lake.
"Watched a guy drive into one and completely bend his wheel," she said.
"Pulled over to ask if he was okay but couldn't do much but call someone to tow him home."
Billy Bob hit a couple of potholes heading out of town to Green Point.
"Hit one got a flat; when I was pulling over to the side of the road I hit another and ended up with two flat tyres," he posted on Facebook.
"Got it fixed and a week later they were using a shovel and the good old work boot stomp to fix them."
Anniqua Olsen described a section of The Lakes Way between Great Lakes College Forster campus and Sweet Pea Animal Hospital as an absolute joke.
"It's a goat track to say the least," she said.

According to Susan Tychon Blackhead Road was a shambles.
OMG you need a 4WD in Warwiba Road and South Herron Road around the early learning centre and commercial nurseries in Old Bar, Kylie Chambers posted.
For the rates we pay maintenance should be so much better and done properly once and for all, she said.
Yolande Franklin believed the narrow width and questionable edges of The Lakes Way between the Bulahdelah turn-off and Bungwahl was a concern.
Lots of dips in the road surface, she said.
With the speed limit at 100km/h in some parts the road needs resurfacing and widening, like it has been at Mayers Flat.
Sue Peacock described roads in Taree area a disgrace and some of the worst in Australia, while Chelsea Steele believed The Lakes Way between Failford and Rainbow Flat also was a disgrace.
