Tuncurry Forster Jockey Club will kick off its racing calendar for 2021 with the Seafood Race Day this Saturday, January 16.

Club president Garry McQuillan said he was expecting a strong crowd, with plenty of holiday visitors in the mix.
"It's all leading up to being very successful," he said.
"I've never had so many enquiries."

The meeting will feature six races, including the blue ribbon 1400m Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club Oyster Cup.
Mr McQuillan said they had received 99 nominations so far and a good standard of racing was expected on the day.
Special guests will include esteemed rugby league journalist Dean Ritchie and Racing NSW representatives Mark Brassel and Darrell Lowenthal.
Gates open at 11:30am and tickets are available on the gate, however, all patrons will be required to sign in with a QR code.
Buses will be running from Forster, Tuncurry, Black Head and Smiths Lake.
