Nathan Harris-Dent and Blake Dobles are more than 50 days in to an epic stroll from Melbourne to Brisbane that has seen them raise more than $14,000 so far for Victoria-based charity, Dogs for Kids.
The boys have changed their itinerary to avoid COVID-19 hot spots in Sydney and are aiming to arrive in Seal Rocks tonight, January 7.
Over the next week they're planning to hike from Pacific Palms to Coopernook, before continuing north on their journey.

A three-month long, 2200km expedition, the pair have named the adventure 'Ks for Days' and say it's both a journey of self-discovery and an opportunity to do their part for a worthy charity.
"Blake and I have similar views on why we're doing the walk," Nathan said.
"One is we simply want to get out there and have an adventure - challenge ourselves, get out of our comfort zone. We're excited for how much we'll grow and what we'll learn on the trip, and where we might be at the end of it, character-wise.
"Simply put, to become better people is right at the top of the list.
"Secondly, my family has been heavily involved supporting Dogs for Kids and we want to do our part to help the charity as it's been doing it tough during the pandemic."
Dogs for Kids is a not-for-profit organisation that raises and trains assistance and therapy dogs for children who face physical, intellectual, emotional and social challenges.
So far the boys have enjoyed the experiences and hospitality they've encountered along the way, from walking through a wild windstorm in fire-ravaged parts of NSW to accepting cold beers from Swedish tourists who took pity on them on a hot summer afternoon.
"One thing that has completely blown us away is the generosity of strangers," Blake said.
"Everyone is so kind and wants to hear what we're doing and why we're doing it and they want to do their part to make sure we finish this kind of insane idea of ours."

Dogs for Kids board member Kim Michod said the charity would be supporting the boys in any way possible to ensure their adventure was a great success and would be covering their trials, tribulations, surprises and revelations each step of the way via the wonders of social media.
"As a charity we find it so inspiring when young people put their hands up to raise money and awareness for causes such as ours," Ms Michod said.
"We're behind them 100% and can't wait to watch them (in the virtual world) reach their destination in Brisbane."
