The Great Lakes Advocate has gone back through the archives and found a series of photos showing what changed and what stayed the same around Forster in the 32 years between 1975 and 2007.
There's no doubt the high rises have increased over the years, but judging by the amount of bodies on the beach in both the black and white and colour shots, people have continued to be drawn to the white sand and clear water of Forster Main Beach.
