"There are literally hundreds of different types of play equipment available for water playgrounds and now is the time for you to tell us which ones you'd like to see installed in the Tuncurry water playground," MidCoast Council community spaces, recreation and trades manager, Dan Aldridge said.
"If you have visited a water playground in another region, we'd love for you to share your photos of the best equipment, by uploading your image to our web page, at Tuncurry water playground."
And if you've never been to a water playground, take a look at the image gallery anyway - and be sure to tell us which ones you'd like to see in Tuncurry, he said.
Planning the water playground is a very exciting time for everyone involved, from tiny people to those who will enjoying the playground alongside them.
"The great thing about these facilities is that they are all age, all ability and a safe place to cool off during the warm weather.
"In other locations, we've seen everyone from the very young, through to teens and the very young at heart enjoying the water playgrounds.
"We expect that like other regions, visitors to our area will also enjoy the facility during holiday periods."
If you're sending us images to upload, be aware they should be your own images, as we cannot publish images that are taken from the internet without copyright permission, Mr Aldridge said.
However, all images sent would be included as part of the feedback for planning the water playground.

The Mid Coast community is helping to shape the plans for the Tuncurry water playground during a consultation that runs until Wednesday, January 13 2021.
"We'll be getting out and about to consult with people face-to-face throughout December.
"We'll be having some fun with this - so keep an eye out for us over the next two months."
Targeted consultations are being held with families, people living with a disability and their carers, and the local business community.
The initial stage will include construction of the shaded playground, new amenities block and barbecue and picnic table facilities.
The water playground will remain open all year round and be free of charge.
Not everything is up for feedback just yet - this consultation will focus on the construction of the Tuncurry water playground and the first stage amenities.
The long term plan is for the expansion of a recreation precinct centred on Fazio Park.
The reserve already includes the skate park and Tuncurry Community Hall.
There are plans for a children's safety bike path in the precinct and parking, footpaths and a safe access way to link Lone Pine Park and the foreshore with the new precinct will be constructed.
A $400,000 Federal government Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program grant will be matched by council funds to kick start the first stage of the project.
Visit the Tuncurry water program page to find out more, upload your images, check out the program for pop-ups and activities and the online survey and poll.
