Forster Tuncurry Quota recently celebrated its 34th anniversary with a special birthday cake.
Charter member, Helen Pearse and president, Rowena Woods were given the honour of cutting the cake.
Past district governor Jan Irvine, attended that historic meeting more than three decades ago, and shared memories of that event.

Following the formal celebration members began to cover voting boxes for use in this year's Forster Tuncurry Quota and Forster Tuncurry Business Chamber Creative Christmas Tree competition.
"We have been delighted at the wonderful response from the local shops and look forward to seeing the trees go up in the participating shops," publicity officer, Nerelle Duff said.
"Don't forget to vote for your favourite."
