One northbound lane of the Pacific Highway is now open at the site of flooding in Tea Gardens.
One lane is still closed so motorists should continue to take extra care and drive to the conditions.
Unconfirmed reports have been posted on Facebook The Lakes Way is cut off near Pacific Palms Recreation Club following flooding in the area.
EARLIER:
All northbound lanes of the Pacific Highway at Tea Gardens near Myall Way are closed due to flooding.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and delay their trips.
Southbound lanes of the highway are currently open but motorists are advised to take extra care and drive to the conditions.
Emergency services are on site and traffic crews also are responding.
Further south, emergency services are attending a motor vehicle accident on the highway, near Hunterview Road, North Arm Cove
Traffic is affected in both directions, and motorists are advised to drive with caution.
