Held on the October long weekend, the three day event challenged runners to take on three marathons in as many days.
With multi-day races being Kaz's specialty, she set up Independent Runner Events to hold 'boutique' marathons in Gloucester.
"As COVID has stopped me from travelling to different locations and venues for races, I decided to put on some here to give locals an event," Kaz said.
The Bucketts series saw 10 runners take part on each of the three days, from October 3 to 5 in the Gloucester District Park area.
"What a brilliant morning of running in the beautiful Gloucester District Park," Kaz posted on Facebook on day one.
"It started out so misty and cloudy and no views of the mountains but this slowly changed and it's turned out to be a beautiful day."
Gloucester's Bob Lamb was the event's official starter making sure the participants began on time at 6.30am each morning.
"Two runners ran personal best times on a challenging Bucketts course and as the race director this makes me very happy," Kaz said.
Many runners travelled to Gloucester for the event, something else that Kaz is very proud of.
"Gloucester, not only is it a beautiful region, but NSW has seen a resurgence in tourism in this area. I want to bring people here to run and explore, to see an area they may not have seen before," she said.
Kaz has plans for several events which are listed on the Independent Runner Event Facebook page.
The next is the Bucketts Halloween Event on Saturday, October 31.
Kaz will be offering a 42.2km (standard marathon distance) and 21.1k (half marathon).
