In the open men's division it will be a battle of the brothers, with Zeb and Nat Watts and Shane and Ross Cadden all in contention for the title.
Zeb is also locked in a race for the junior title with Jay Pink, after he claimed both the open men's and junior divisions at the last club round on Sunday, October 18.
Club president Adam Salt said the club scored great waves for the contest, with South Boomerang turning on consistent four-foot waves that continued to improve throughout the day.
He said the level of surfing throughout the year had been strong and it was exciting to see so many divisions come down to the wire.
"It's pretty competitive across all the age groups," Mr Salt said.
"The open women's will come down to the last event. It's pretty close in the masters as well."
Mr Salt said the club was doing well despite everything that had happened in 2020, with membership increasing and only two events cancelled because of COVID-19.
"The club is in a pretty good place right now," he said.
"There are plenty of numbers."
However, a location for the end-of-year presentation in December has yet to be decided.
"I don't know what we're going to do this year in regards to COVID," Mr Salt said.
"We might have an open air thing and a bit of a fun tag team thing on single fins."

But there's plenty to look forward to before then, with the final club round to be held on Sunday, November 15 and a team of five surfers making the pilgrimage up to Coffs Harbour to represent Boomerang Beach at the Australian Boardriders Battle Northern NSW qualifier later in the month.
"Hopefully we can go one better this year and make the final in Newy," Mr Salt said.
"The way everyone's surfing at the moment, the hardest thing is working out who's going to surf."
