The facility was temporarily closed in late August to undertake with improvement work to the access ramp and general maintenance.
"During the community consultation for Forster's Main Beach Masterplan in 2018, the community requested improvements be made to the access ramp for the baths, and we're pleased we have now delivered on that need," MidCoast Council community spaces, recreation and trades manager, Dan Aldridge said.
The ramp was resurfaced, removing uneven and cracked joints, and treated with an anti-slip paint.
The handrail has been replaced to ensure it complies with updated Australian Standards.

Taking full advantage of the closure, council also took the opportunity to undertake routine pool cleaning and repainting, along with recoating weathered and coarse concrete paths surrounding the pool.
The access ramp improvements were undertaken as the final part of the ocean baths facilities upgrade, which saw the replacement of the amenities block, outdoor shower area and the new barbecue shelter completed earlier this year.
And in a further gain for Forster suburban parks, the old barbecue shelter was split in two and remodelled, now going into service providing shade at both south Forster Lake Estate and north Tuncurry Banksia Estate parks.
The project was funded through a $250,000 NSW Government Stronger Country Communities grant in conjunction with $350,000 from council.
