The folks at Moonan Cottage at Moonan Brook said they were pleasantly surprised to see snow five centimetres thick at the Tops this morning, Monday, August 10 morning after receiving constant rain overnight.
"What an amazing surprise this morning," the business posted to its Facebook page.
It followed snowfall on Sunday, with weekend snow chasers making the trek to the Tops to see the winter wonderland.
The Barrington Tops forecast for today was snow falling above 1500 metres and a chance of showers, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
