Given the current situation with COVID-19, the company is asking passengers and the greater community to support the initiative by making an online donation rather than an onboard donation.
All funds raised will be donated to the Children's Medical Research Institute.
"These funds help vital medical research that can improve the lives of many Australian families," Busways spokesperson, Jade Calver said.
"Stories of ill children really hit home for us as a family-owned and operated company and we know times are tough for many families with sick children right now.
"Let's all do our bit - we encourage all our employees and our passenger community to get behind this initiative and donate via our online donation page to help these families and their children in the future."
