Recovering after bushfires - what role can Landcare play? will be held from 2pm on Tuesday, August 4.
Chris Cobern from the Upper Goulburn Landcare Network in Victoria, who was involved in the recovery efforts following the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires, will be joined by Rowan Ewing from Landcare Australia.
Mr Cobern worked with local communities, government, and volunteers for many years to help the landscape heal and recover.
In this webinar Mr Cobern will chat about how he navigated issues around sourcing funding and volunteers, providing training, supporting local landholders, and what he's learnt that can help groups and organisations working in similar circumstances today, while Mr Ewing will give an update on the bushfire recovery fund activities to date and what was planned for coming months.
The session will last around 45 minutes, and once you're logged into Landcare you will have the opportunity to connect with Chris and ask him questions.

If you can't make the live session you can register anyway, and Landcare will send you a link to the recording afterwards.
